ALL ORDERS ARE HANDMADE – It takes 5-7 days to make and ship all orders received each week.
Shipping Policy:
Currently, our processing time is 5-7 days. Please do not place an order if you need it shipped sooner. (This includes Priority Express).
Processing time may increase during the summer months and holidays. While I sometimes can ship faster, it’s not guaranteed unless you email or text me in advance. Since it’s essentially a one-woman operation at Gopi Henna (with occasional help from my husband), I dedicate Monday-Wednesday (and sometimes Saturdays) to shipping. I appreciate your patience!
Once shipped, regular priority mail typically takes 2-3 days, though it's not guaranteed 100%. The only guaranteed service is Priority EXPRESS (1-2 days). First class shipping takes 2-5 business days but is not insured and more likely to be delayed.
I generally ship orders as received, including Priority Express orders. If you need an order rushed, please email or text me to confirm I can accommodate. Same-day shipments are not always possible unless you notify me in advance. For fresh cones, I offer the express option, but please make sure to message me for confirmation first.
After your order is placed, you’ll receive an order confirmation with an order number. You won’t receive tracking until I print the shipping label. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see the tracking email.
For missing tracking info, email me if you haven’t received it by the following Saturday (if your order was placed before Sunday 9 PM PST).
Please take these steps before contacting me:
- Check your address – I am not responsible for incorrect addresses.
- Possible theft – If stolen, report it immediately to USPS (it's a federal offense). You may be reimbursed up to $50 for Priority Mail orders.
- Premature delivery scan – Sometimes USPS scans packages as delivered too early. Check with your local USPS as they can track it with GPS.
Refund/Return Policy:
Priority Mail & Priority Express are insured up to $100.If USPS says it’s lost, file a claim directly with them. For First Class, no insurance applies, but I can offer either store credit (excluding shipping costs) or a replacement package (with postage costs).
If Priority Mail was delayed by more than 7 business days or Priority Express by more than 3 days, you can file a claim with USPS. First Class isn’t insured, so I can offer store credit or a replacement, but we’ll need photos to verify the damage.
Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of ordering.
We do not accept returns for henna cones due to their perishable nature. If they’re damaged in transit, please send a photo of the damage for us to address it.
For henna kits or henna powder, you can return it within 14 days, but you’ll need to pay return postage and incur a 20% restocking fee.
If your package is returned due to an incorrect address, you’ll need to cover the shipping cost for us to resend it. Henna cones are perishable, and cannot be restocked, but we’ll gladly reship your order once the shipping cost is paid.
Reminder:
Store your henna cones properly! Freeze them immediately upon arrival to preserve freshness. Do not leave at room temperature unless using them the same day. When ready to use, take the cone out 10 minutes before use, then return it to the freezer after finishing for the day. Keep cones in the box they arrive in for easy storage.
